Our Principal

Welcome to Kawana Springs Elementary!

Whether you are returning to our campus or joining our school family for the first time, I am so excited to welcome you to the 2026-27 school year.

As principal, my vision for Kawana Springs is simple: to spark a genuine love for learning and support every single student’s academic and social-emotional development. Through our Dual Language Immersion program, our students grow to become truly bilingual, biliterate, and culturally connected in ways that will open doors for the rest of their lives.

What makes our school community special is our unwavering commitment to inclusion, belonging, and joy. We proudly maintain a close-knit "small school vibe" where every child is seen, valued, and cared for across all of our Dual Language Immersion and Special Education programs. We enrich the daily student experience with vibrant opportunities—including Student Council, Safe School Ambassadors, Marimba, STEAM, gardening, yoga and sports teams. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Taylor Mountain, our newly renovated facilities provide a modern, welcoming space where students can thrive.

I firmly believe that great schools are built on strong partnerships with families. Our staff and I approach our work with positivity, respect, and deep care for one another, knowing that when we work hand-in-hand with you, our students truly thrive.

I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us. Here’s to a wonderful school year ahead!

Go Cougars!
